City Security Services provides professional security services in demanding public environments. We are seeking qualified Transit Security Officers to help protect transportation facilities and the people who use them.

This position requires strong observation skills, sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively during emergencies.

Pay: $22/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77030
Schedule: Full-Time, Overnight, 32 hours/week

• Thursday: 10:00PM - 6:00AM
• Friday: 10:00PM - 6:00AM
• Saturday: 10:00PM - 6:00AM
• Sunday: 10:00PM - 6:00AM

Responsibilities Include

• Secure assigned facilities through patrol and fixed-post coverage.
• Monitor entrances, public spaces, and designated areas.
• Detect and report unsafe or suspicious conditions.
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
• Assist patrons and employees during medical emergencies.
• Provide basic first aid when appropriate.
• Contact emergency responders when required.
• Monitor visitors and occupants.
• Report property damage, spills, hazards, and equipment issues.
• Take appropriate action regarding unauthorized access.
• Maintain required reports.
• Follow facility plans and security post orders.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified candidates must have an active Level 3 certification and guard license in hand, including current baton and OC certifications.

Candidates must also:

• Be 21 or older.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have a clean three-year driving history.
• Pass the required PRT.
• Complete the required 24-hour training.
• Demonstrate basic technical skills.

One approved education/experience pathway is also required.
