Unarmed Security Officer - Industrial

Pay: $15/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77095 (Cypress Area)
Schedule: Full-Time, Morning, 36 hours/week 

• Monday: 6:00AM - 6:00PM
• Tuesday: 6:00AM - 6:00PM
• Thursday: 6:00AM - 6:00PM

City Security Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and alert Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services and access control. The position is primarily stationed at a guard shack and is responsible for controlling entry to the property, verifying credentials, monitoring incoming and outgoing traffic, and providing professional customer service to employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable interacting with employees, visitors and contractors while maintaining an approachable demeanor. Successful candidates must be able to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and pay attention to detail while maintaining professionalism and confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Verify the credentials of all visitors. 
• Monitor visitor traffic entering the property.
• Confirm visitors and contractors are authorized before granting entry.
• Follow established procedures when visitors to no provide proper identification or have authorization.
• Respond to complaints, disturbances, and suspicious activity
• Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
• Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel when emergency situations arise
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence

Requirements: 

• Active Level II Security License or the ability to obtain one.
• Active Drivers License with a clean Driving Record
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight shifts
