Security Officer - Industrial Environment

Pay: $16/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77095 (Cypress Area)
Schedule: Full-time, Afternoon 40 hours/week 
  • Sunday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
  • Monday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
  • Tuesday: 10:00PM - 06:00AM
  • Wednesday: 10:00PM - 06:00AM
City Security Services is seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer to provide services to a major industrial facility. In this role, you will provide access control, monitor cameras, and verify visitor access with employees. Also, the officer will respond to security incidents, and maintain a visible security presence. Successful candidates must be able to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, strong attention to detail while identifying discrepancies and handling emergency situations with confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify the credentials of truck drivers, employees, contractors, and visitors
  • Confirm all site visits with approved personnel
  • Report gate malfunction and visitor access control issues to management
  • Monitor CCTV cameras
  • Respond to complaints, disturbances, and suspicious activity
  • Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
  • Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel when emergency situations arise
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence
Requirements: 
  • Level 2 security license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work morning shifts
