City Security Services is seeking experienced security officers for transit facility assignments.

The successful candidate will provide patrol, access control, emergency response, observation, reporting, and customer assistance services while following established transportation security procedures.

Pay: $22/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77030
Schedule: Full-Time, Overnight, 40 hours/week

• Saturday: 10:00pm-6:00am
• Sunday: 10:00pm-6:00am
• Monday: 10:00pm-6:00am
• Tuesday: 10:00pm-6:00am
• Wednesday: 10:00pm-6:00am

Key Functions

• Perform mobile and stationary security assignments.
• Maintain a visible security presence.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled facility patrols.
• Observe and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
• Assist individuals who are ill or injured.
• Request emergency assistance when appropriate.
• Monitor facility occupants and visitors.
• Enforce applicable rules and regulations within authorized limits.
• Identify safety hazards and maintenance issues.
• Document incidents and activities accurately.
• Follow General Orders and Post Orders.

Required Credentials

• Active Level 3 security certification.
• Guard license in hand.
• Current baton certification.
• Current OC certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving history for the previous three years.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be at least 21 and able to pass the required PRT and 24-hour training program.

Education and experience must satisfy one of the approved pathways:

• Bachelor's degree and demonstrated competency;
• Associate degree in criminal justice/security plus two years of security experience;
• Three years combined military/law enforcement/corrections experience; or
• Five years verifiable commercial guard experience.
