Security Officer - Industrial Environment

Pay: $16/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77095 (Cypress Area)
Schedule: Full-time, Afternoon 40 hours/week

Tuesday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
Wednesday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
Thursday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
Friday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
Saturday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM

City Security Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and alert Security Officer to provide security services to a major industrial facility. In this role, you will provide access control by monitoring entry/exit points, cameras, visitor activity, and employee access while responding to security incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence. Successful candidates must be able to make sound decisions, remain calm under pressure, observant, and handle emergency situations with professionalism and confidence.

Responsibilities:

Verify the credentials of truck drivers, employees, contractors, and visitors
Confirm all site visits with approved personnel
Report gate malfunction and visitor access control issues to management
Monitor CCTV cameras
Respond to complaints, disturbances, and suspicious activity
Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
Comfortable using computers and basic technology
Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel when emergency situations arise
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence

Requirements:

Level 2 security license or the ability to obtain one.
Reliable attendance and ability to work morning shifts
