Unarmed Security Officer - Residential Community

Pay: $17/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77024 (Galleria Area)
Schedule: Part -Time, Overnight, 12 hours/week 
  • Friday: 7:00PM - 11:00PM
  • Saturday: 7:00PM - 11:00PM
  • Sunday: 7:00PM - 11:00PM
City Security Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and alert  Security Officer to patrol a residential community. In this role, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, monitor resident and visitor activity, respond to security incidents, and maintain a visible security presence throughout the property. The ideal candidate would enjoy an active patrol position and pays close attention to their surrounds. Successful candidates must be able to remain calm under pressure, while using sound judgment, and handle emergency situations with professionalism and confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct vehicle and foot patrols throughout a gated residential community
  • Monitor resident and visitor traffic entering the property
  • Conduct perimeter checks of community amenities, parking areas, and common spaces
  • Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
  • Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel when emergency situations arise.
  • Respond professionally to resident concerns and provide assistance when appropriate.
  • Verify guest access and assist visitors with directions as needed.
 
  • Requirements: 
  • Active Level II Security License or the ability to obtain one
  • Active Drivers License with a clean Driving Record
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight shifts
