Armed Security Officer - Residential Community

Pay: $22/hr
Location: Houston, TX 77004 (TSU Area)
Schedule: Full-Time, Overnight, 35 hours/week 
  • Sunday:   5:00PM - 12:00AM
  • Monday:  5:00PM - 12:00AM
  • Tuesday: 5:00PM - 12:00AM
  • Wednesday: 5:00PM - 12:00AM 
  • Thursday: 5:00PM - 12:00AM
City Security Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and alert Armed Security Officer to provide security services within an active residential community. In this role, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, monitor resident and visitor activity, monitor vacant units status, respond to security incidents, and maintain a visible security presence throughout the property. Successful candidates must be able to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and handle emergency situations with professionalism and confidence.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct vehicle and foot patrols throughout a gated residential community
  • Monitor resident and visitor traffic entering the property
  • Respond to resident complaints, disturbances, and suspicious activity
  • Verify guest access and assist visitors with directions as needed
  • Conduct perimeter checks of community amenities, parking areas, and common spaces
  • Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence
  • Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel when emergency situations arise
Requirements: 
  • Active Level III Commissioned Security License
  • Active Drivers License with a clean Driving Record
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight shifts
